CombatTest

CombatTest is a Team Deathmatch and Free for all (FFA) Minecraft gamemode on various maps.

How it started

CombatTest was originally created to test the equipment system of the conquest mode of Castle Conquest 2. Over the time, it developed to its own gamemode.

Game Principle

CombatTest can be played as Team Deathmatch, FFA or both at the same time. Players who are in a team play together in that team, players who are not in a team play alone.

For killing players, you get points. You can use that points to upgrade your equipment. The gamemode also supports you if you have lower equipment than your enemy.

There is no real way win the game. At the end of each game, the statistics of the players and teams are shown (Kills, Deaths, K/D). For each category, the player and the team with the highest value is announced (Most kills, Darwin Award, Highest K/D). So you can consider the one with the most kills or the highest K/D as the winner if you want.

Equipment System

The equipment system is the predecessor of the Castle Conquest 2 (Conquest Mode) equipment system. You have 3 categories: melee, ranged and armor. For each category, you can choose one item. You can upgrade this item using points to make it stronger. At some point, you can specialize the item. After that you can upgrade the item until it has reached the max level.

Maps

Because CombatTest was actually only intended as a test game mode, most of the maps were not created by us.
